About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Experience Design Strategist to drive innovation and expertise in user-centred design for strategic projects and tactical enhancement activities across our organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct continuous research, testing and analysis of existing and future end-user experience and design, applying best practices to digital channels and experiences.
  • Deliver high-quality, usable digital, mobile and hybrid products, applications and solutions that meet user and organisational needs.
  • Analyse complex problems, weigh up options to identify accessible and inclusive solutions and translate issues into clear goals and targets.
  • Promote and drive change using influencing skills to gain support, overcome barriers and engage stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience as a UX designer in a commercial or educational design environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage delivery of UX activities.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Optimal Workshop or other UX tools.
  • Experience designing for accessibility and adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
