Financial Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Specialist to join our team. In this part-time role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

This position is ideal for individuals who value flexibility and variety in their work. As a Financial Services Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing financial statements. You will also assist with payroll, BAS, GST, PAYG, superannuation, and other statutory reporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial data and maintain accurate records.
  • Process transactions and prepare financial statements.
  • Support the accounting team with end-of-month tasks.
  • Assist with the integration of new financial systems.
  • Perform general administrative duties.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. A minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or bookkeeping is required, as well as a degree in Accounting (preferred). ERP/systems experience is highly regarded, but not essential.

As a Financial Services Specialist, you will be expected to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for success in this role.
