About the Role
This is a dynamic leadership position that requires a proven track record of driving financial excellence, partnering with senior leadership, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will be responsible for:
- Leading a high-performing finance team to deliver strategic financial insights, manage budgets, and drive performance.
- Providing business partnering to senior leadership, offering expert financial guidance to inform strategic decisions.
- Managing financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close, ensuring accurate reporting and performance tracking.
- Driving continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and valuation models.
- Supporting commercial project evaluations and delivering actionable financial analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, external reporting, and audits.
About You
We're looking for a seasoned finance professional with:
- Proven expertise in managing month-end close processes, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office tools, including financial modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect business drivers to financial outcomes.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
- Experience in the energy sector, particularly in wholesale electricity and financial instruments, is highly regarded.
- CA/CPA qualification is essential.
