Field Service Technician

Typical Service Technician Tasks:

  • Conducting customer-focused scheduled and 'breakdown' services.
  • Assisting in the preparation of field-based quotes for customers through the completion of jobs.
  • Recording notes and filing service records appropriately.
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge, including emerging technologies in automation and telematics.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician will be highly regarded but not essential.
  • Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
