Job Opportunity

GHD is a global network of architects, designers, planners, engineers, and environmental scientists working towards the same goal. We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical design solutions for physical and electronic security in accordance with Australian Government Physical Security requirements.
  • Provide security design and compliance advice to engineering and architecture teams on exciting projects.
  • Create detailed design documentation that meets client needs, including physical security zone plans, electronic security plans, and integrated electronic security networks.
  • Collaborate in 3D design environments and deliver project solutions.
  • Build trust-based relationships with clients across all levels.
  • Mentor junior security professionals in the team.
Requirements:
  • Electrical, electronics, ICT, telecommunications or computer systems engineering background desired.
  • More than 8+ years' experience in security consulting, advising on physical and electronic security.
  • Australian Government security clearance and ability to obtain relevant security licences.
  • Passion for helping organisations assess and deliver security, risk, strategy and technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Defence security requirements.
  • SCEC and Security construction compliance audits and inspections.
  • Security qualifications or certificates.
  • Experience in Revit modelling environment.
