Sustainability Manager

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of Australia's green energy sector by joining our team as an Environmental Coordinator. We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our team in implementing the Construction Environment Management Plan (CEMP).
">- Implement CEMP and ensure compliance with environmental protection legislation.
- Conduct noise and vibration assessments, and draft out-of-hours work permits.
- Perform regular environmental monitoring and site inspections.
- Participate in client inspections, ensuring timely action closure and reporting.
- Mitigate environmental and compliance risks proactively with site teams.
- Investigate incidents, manage reporting, and maintain waste registers.
- Promote sustainability efforts and conduct environmental training.
- Champion environmental management, safety, and sustainability standards, fostering a positive safety culture.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Preferably 3+ years of experience in environmental management within construction, engineering, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, science, sustainability, or certificate IV in environment.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with large projects is highly desirable but not essential.
