About the Role:

Stantec is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our Water team in Australia. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering water infrastructure projects from feasibility studies to detailed design packages for construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, program, and coordinate specific projects with the Project Manager to deliver agreed outputs on budget, on time, and to quality standards.
  • Manage and assist in civil engineering, design management, and project management from planning to construction support of water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Perform broad, varied, and diverse water and wastewater infrastructure engineering design tasks, including engineering drawings, reports, presentations, and submissions to regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure all technical outputs conform to the project scope, are safe, and of appropriate quality.
  • Actively participate in knowledge sharing networks and support the development and expansion of the Company's capability in water and wastewater design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartership/RPEQ or working towards is highly regarded.
  • Relevant professional experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Strong technical experience in potable water supply, gravity, and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks.
