We are seeking dedicated nurses to join our team at Coroneagh Park in Penguin, Tasmania.

In this permanent part-time role, you will provide exceptional care to our residents in a supportive and rewarding environment with stable hours and a strong work-life balance.

As a nurse in this position, your primary responsibility will be to deliver safe, competent clinical care while adhering to standards set by regulatory bodies.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support the health and wellbeing of our residents.

Flexibility across all shifts is essential as we provide 24/7 care to our residents.

">Responsibilities">
  1. ">
  2. Participate in resident admissions and ongoing assessments to identify care needs by compiling comprehensive histories from residents and/or families.">
  3. Maintain accurate documentation that reflects care delivery and clinical decisions.">
  4. Assist in implementing, contributing to, and evaluating resident care plans as directed by the supervising Registered Nurse.">
  5. Administer medications and ensure accurate ordering, storage, and documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.">
">Requirements">

The successful candidate will possess:

  • ">
  • A Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent).">
  • Current registration with AHPRA.">
  • Minimum 1 year of post-graduate nursing experience, preferably in aged care.">
  • Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Aged Care Quality Standards.">
  • Understanding of the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI).">
  • Strong clinical and documentation skills.">
  • Knowledge of aged care accreditation processes.">
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain).">
  • Ability to meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.">
  • Flexibility to work across all shifts (morning, afternoon, and night) is essential.">
