What You'll Do
  • Provide rapid response nursing care to patients in community settings
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Support patients and families through acute health episodes
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
What We're Looking For
  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
  • Experience in acute care, emergency, or community health settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region
  • Commitment to cultural safety and inclusive practice

Details of Appointment

Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.

  • Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $144,146 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

  • Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

Salary Packaging: You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and endorsed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Current Driver's Licence
