Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is exceptional.
Responsibilities
This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including:
1. Greeting customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome, using positive and clear English communication to address their needs and concerns.
2. Completing the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent details such as room rates and guest preferences.
3. Handling cash transactions, making change, and balancing house bank as assigned. Accepting and recording vouchers, travelers' checks, and other forms of payment.
4. Answering phone calls promptly, using positive and clear English communication to respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
5. Closing guest accounts at check-out, ensuring guest satisfaction, and addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
2. Prior hospitality experience an asset, but not required.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
4. Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
5. Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to perform accurate arithmetic functions using a calculator.
6. Familiarity with computer systems and software, with the ability to access and accurately input information.
