Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Procurement Professional to lead our construction procurement activities across Australia.

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for construction categories.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders to drive value creation and sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization and supply chain improvements.

This role requires a strong understanding of the construction industry, contracts, and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing strategic category plans to meet business objectives.
  • Negotiating and managing complex construction contracts.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Providing market intelligence and strategic insights to inform decision making.
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives and driving value creation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant construction-related field (e.g. Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering).
  • Experience developing and executing strategic category plans.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
