AWS Infrastructure Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and security of our digital infrastructure.

This position is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable AWS environments that support mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing secure, high-performance AWS architectures
  • Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Configuring networks (VPCs, subnets, peering, NAT, Transit Gateway)
  • Automating provisioning and deployment with CI/CD pipelines
  • Containerizing workloads with ECS, EKS, or Fargate
  • Maintaining and optimizing AWS resources using CloudWatch and X-Ray
  • Mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews
  • Improving DevOps workflows and engineering standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with AWS, preferably supporting production environments
  • Solid experience with IaC and automation
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Proficiency with DevOps toolchains (Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven design
