Overview: As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide support to individuals in their homes and the community, assisting them to live as independently as possible and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, household chores, and meal preparation
  • Encourage and support clients to participate in activities that promote independence and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in disability support, aged care, or community services (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts
  • A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
