About the Role

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Manager / Nurse Unit Manager within the Aged Care, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Division.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of dedicated healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care through the utilisation of cutting-edge digital technologies.

Your expertise coupled with a keen understanding of healthcare informatics, will be instrumental in driving innovation and streamlining processes within the Digital Support (VIVA) unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care through digital technologies.
  • Drive innovation and streamline processes within the Digital Support (VIVA) unit.
  • Develop and promote the service, its involvement in teaching, research and education, and the development of strategic alliances and networks.
  • Provide leadership and management across ACRPC and a senior clinician within NALHN.
  • Operational management of the multidisciplinary team of staff.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position at AHP4 classification, you must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification for one of the following Allied Health disciplines:

  • Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
  • Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Social Worker eligible for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Speech Pathologist eligible for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Dietitian eligible for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
  • Exercise Physiologist eligible for accreditation from Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA).

To be eligible for this position at RN3 classification, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
