Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our underground maintenance team. The role involves performing planned electrical maintenance on plant equipment, responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting HV/LV systems and motors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety standards and procedures, providing technical expertise, and supporting operational relationships. They must be committed to safety and wellbeing, with a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820) and South Australian A class Electrical license (or ability to obtain).

A strong understanding of electrical principles, experience in an underground mining environment, and effective communication skills are essential. Basic PLC knowledge and working at Heights and Confined Space competencies are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing planned electrical maintenance on plant equipment
  • Responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting HV/LV systems and motors
  • Maintaining safety standards and procedures
  • Providing technical expertise and supporting operational relationships

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820)
  • South Australian A class Electrical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience in an underground mining environment preferred
  • Effective communication skills
