Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

A dynamic leader is required to lead a team of employees with varying abilities in grounds maintenance activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the productivity of the group, ensuring customer expectations are met and all employees reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of employees with varying abilities.
  • Ensure all employees reach their full potential and meet customer expectations.
  • Oversee daily operations, including grounds maintenance, gardening, and equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinate maintenance matters and ensure adherence to OH&S guidelines.
  • Apply herbicides, pesticides, and fertilisers to gardens and grounds as required.
  • Weed control and outdoor maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working or supervising a team.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Patience and caring disposition to make people feel at ease.
  • Willingness to work alongside people of all abilities.
  • Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Current NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain.
