Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Assistant

The Grounds Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the college grounds on a casual basis. This role involves working as part of a team to ensure the upkeep of our Heyington campus, with occasional opportunities to work across other sports fields campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the College Grounds
  • Use of grounds maintenance equipment such as blowers, ride-on mowers and cricket wicket rollers
  • Horticulture experience, gardening or turf management

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 in Horticulture - Turf Management
  • Experience as a Grounds person in a School or similar environment
  • Experience in the use of grounds maintenance equipment
  • Driver's license
  • Effective communication skills

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our grounds team as a casual assistant. You will be responsible for maintaining the college grounds, including mowing, pruning and other tasks as required. You will work closely with our experienced grounds staff to ensure the upkeep of our grounds is maintained to a high standard.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone with a passion for horticulture and experience in grounds maintenance. You should have a Certificate 3 in Horticulture - Turf Management and relevant experience in a school or similar environment. You should also have effective communication skills and a driver's license.
