Senior Web Platform Role

This is a senior position within the Web Platform team, responsible for driving performance enhancements and leading technical efforts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Improving product performance by exploring emerging technologies and applying them across key product experiences.
  • Leading technical efforts around code optimization and delivery, evaluating and evolving systems to support scale, reduce bottlenecks, and enable velocity.
  • Collaborating across teams to lead complex initiatives – bringing expertise, context sharing, and strategic clarity to drive scalable solutions.

About the Team:

The Web Platform team partners closely with product teams to build, innovate, and optimize core web capabilities while supporting adoption at scale through education and strategic support.

About the Role:

As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you'll operate at the subgroup level, working across initiatives that span multiple platform teams, helping shape the direction of the web platform. You'll have the opportunity to lead forward-looking projects including designing and delivering clients, exploring React Server Components, shaping the future of code bundling and delivery infrastructure, identifying benefits and limitations of existing technologies, and contributing high-level technical expertise and strategic direction to the development of tools that detect regressions before they reach production.
