About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Tax Accountant to join our finance team at DroneShield Group Pty Ltd. As a critical member of our finance function, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting monthly BAS, reviewing and submitting payroll tax, and preparing and reporting on FBT.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit monthly BAS for the global business.
  • Review and submit payroll tax for the Australian operation.
  • Prepare and report on FBT for the global business.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors for preparation of half-year and year-end tax estimates, finalisation and submission of corporate tax return.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors on state sales and income tax returns, federal tax returns, and preparation of half-year and year-end tax estimates for the US operation.
  • Prepare and process NSO's tax for the US operation.
  • Examine PE risk in various foreign jurisdictions.
  • Prepare transfer pricing supporting schedules.
  • Account for inter-company transactions.
Qualifications and Experience
  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in taxation.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a geographically distributed team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to have a can-do attitude and willingness to help in a variety of tasks.
