Job Title: Cyber Infrastructure Specialist
About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in supporting the development and execution of a program of work to enable effective cyber security maturity uplift across Australia's energy sector.
The successful candidate will apply their knowledge of and experience in the energy sector to forge effective collaborations and partnerships to address cyber security challenges affecting the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery and ownership of complex outcomes in support of the Energy Markets Cyber Coordination team's responsibilities relating to cyber maturity uplift.
- Maintain contacts and engage with stakeholders across government, industry, and academia.
- Identify and review AEMO cyber security standards applying to market participants.
- Support review and refinement of sector-specific cyber maturity frameworks and reporting on security preparedness of the sector.
- Assisting in the development of supporting materials and presentations.
- Coordinate internal and contracted resources to deliver objectives.
- Support Manager, Energy Market Cyber Coordination in reporting on progress against initiatives and other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the energy sector supporting critical infrastructure, resilience and cyber security initiatives.
- Effective analysis and communication skills.
- Knowledge of security control and maturity frameworks relevant to the energy sector.
- Knowledge of jurisdictional structures and arrangements across State, Territory and Commonwealth governments with respect to energy and cyber security.
- Contemporary knowledge of cyber adversary techniques and tradecraft.
- Procurement, program and project management skills.
- Financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management skills.
- Ability to travel interstate and work flexible hours.
