About Our Hospital Department

The emergency department is a dynamic and ever-changing environment where you will be trained in three different roles: Short stay unit ward clerk, Emergency Department ward clerk and Emergency department communications clerk role.

As a ward clerk, your tasks will include clerical work with admissions on the patient management system, ordering stock and replenishing trolleys, answering phones in the main Emergency. Each day brings new challenges that require adaptability and teamwork.

Main Responsibilities
  • Stock control and inventory management
  • Patient admissions on the patient tracking system (IBA)
  • Answering phone calls in the Emergency department
  • Replenishing trolleys with new stock
  • Cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Required Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience as a ward clerk is desirable but not essential. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent patient care and are willing to learn and grow with our team.
