Overview

A critical component of this position involves the incorporation and execution of effective test automation technologies, practices, and methodologies across a suite of innovative technology solutions being developed by the organisation.

This includes cloud-hosted platforms, mobile applications, CRM portals, and other digital services.

Automated testing of Salesforce solutions will be a core aspect of this role, requiring a deep understanding of Salesforce functionality and integration with various systems.

As part of a Scrum team, you will work to establish and integrate test automation within the Scrum workflow and build processes.

Collaboration with the Test Manager is essential in driving quality and efficiency throughout the development lifecycle.

Senior Automation Test Engineers will evaluate, recommend, and drive test automation technology selection and strategy, including framework selection and coding language.

Key Skills, Experience, and Attributes
  • Proven experience in building and executing automated test regimes as part of a DevOps team using CI/CD methodologies.
  • Hands-on proficiency with UI functional automation using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber; experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo; building automation test pipelines.
  • Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, testing Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions, and writing automation scripts for REST API tests.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computing Science, Mathematics, or other relevant technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a test automation role.
  • Passion for driving quality through testing and automation; clear communication; analytical with attention to detail; able to work with a high degree of autonomy and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Comfortable with new approaches to accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design and development.
