Our mission is to support long-term member engagement programs that increase retention rates and grow membership volumes and Funds Under Management.

The Opportunity

This role is part of our Superannuation Consultant team, working nationally at university campuses and in dedicated member spaces. As a member-facing role, it's based onsite in Perth, with a focus on promoting our products and superannuation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with existing and prospective members in person and virtually to provide factual and general advice about our products and superannuation.
  • Identify members who require personal advice and refer them through to our Advice channels.
  • Present at in-person and virtual member and employer seminars on topics related to our services and superannuation.
  • Promote the benefits of our online capabilities, such as our website and Member Online.
  • Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance our presence on campus.
  • Mainly work from university campuses while maintaining strong connections with our staff and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Clear communication skills with good verbal and written abilities to interact with all levels of university staff.
  • Strong knowledge of superannuation, including defined benefit funds.
  • Experience dealing with general superannuation enquiries, perhaps in a previous advice capacity or relationship account manager position.
  • Understanding of General Advice, its importance, and the ability to recognize when to refer members for further personal advice.
  • RG 146 compliance with the DFP or higher preferred.
