Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized job plans to support young people in achieving their employment goals
  • Conduct assessments to identify barriers to employment and provide tailored support to overcome these challenges
  • Provide pre-employment support, including resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies
  • Facilitate activities and learning experiences to build confidence and independence in young people
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external service providers to secure suitable employment opportunities for young people
  • Post-placement support to ensure young people maintain employment and continue to develop their skills and confidence
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as employment services, social work, or youth development
  • Experience working with young people, particularly those who are disadvantaged or at risk
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young people and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
  • Full driver's license and willingness to travel to meet with clients and stakeholders
