About the JobThe Water Quality Division is seeking a highly skilled Wastewater State Revolving Fund Professional Engineer to join its team. The selected candidate will be responsible for engineering review and analysis to determine whether public wastewater facilities are constructed and operated in compliance with statutes, policies, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive engineering reviews and analyses of public wastewater facilities to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide expert project management for technically complex projects involving wastewater system planning, design, capacity, construction, operations, maintenance, and financing.
- Assess wastewater systems to determine optimal levels of performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, or a related field.
- Licensed professional engineer as required by applicable state law and the Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
- Desirable experience in permitting, design, or review of engineering plans and specifications for land or site development, and construction management.
