About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer - Asset Management to join our team at Arcadis. As a key member of our asset management team, you will play a lead role in driving our growth in the NSW civil asset management market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver asset management services for clients owning major road, rail, and maritime infrastructure assets, including tunnels, bridges, railways, and ports.
  • Manage asset management projects to meet budget, program, and quality targets, while exceeding client expectations.
  • Develop asset management options for clients, including whole-of-life cost and value analysis, and convert options into detailed solutions and deliverables for consideration by our clients.
  • Lead and contribute to bids for work in asset management across Australia.
  • Leverage existing and foster new client relationships to grow Arcadis' asset management portfolio.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in engineering and/or asset management with tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering (Civil/Structural) or material science discipline.
  • The ability to lead, manage, and mentor diverse project teams.
  • Experience working on asset management consultancy activities for major Australian infrastructure assets.
  • Excellent report writing skills with experience in delivering asset management reports for major government and private infrastructure asset owners.
  • Excellent verbal communications skills with the ability to present concepts to various stakeholders and influence the direction of asset management discussions.
  • Excellent client focus to foster relationships with asset owner clients and contractors.
