Deakin University is seeking a skilled Enterprise Risk Manager to strengthen its risk management capabilities. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty and central portfolio leaders to identify, assess, and mitigate strategic, operational, and regulatory risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with faculty and central portfolio leaders to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
- Support the development and maintenance of risk registers, analyse trends, and emerging risks, and contribute to the preparation of risk reports and dashboards for senior leadership and governance committees.
- Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure integrated and proactive risk management approaches.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver risk management training programs.
- Relevant qualification and extensive relevant experience in risk, compliance, and/or related discipline.
- Proven experience in developing and applying enterprise risk frameworks, policies, and practices in a complex organisation.
- Highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory and governance environment in higher education or a similarly complex, regulated sector.
