About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BioBanking Accredited Environmental Ecologist to join our team at EBR. As a key member of our ecological assessment team, you will be responsible for conducting ecological field investigations, creating reports, and performing impact assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ecological field investigations and create reports on ecological assessments, natural resource management, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Provide project ecological management advice and oversight in relation to ecological legislation, considering factors such as vegetation, surface water, and groundwater impacts.
  • Oversight of construction activities, including on-site ecological site inspections.
  • Manage and deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Bid for and win new work opportunities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a consulting background, preferably with a focus on ecological assessment and management.
  • Relevant tertiary degree in a field such as ecology, environmental science, or a related discipline.
  • BioBanking Accreditation is a requirement for this role.
  • Demonstrated botanical identification skills and experience in previous roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
