Job Summary:

Blinq Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our mobile application. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin, ensuring a seamless user experience and high-performance app.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to define and implement app features that meet business objectives.
  • Build highly responsive and interactive UI components using the latest Android technologies, such as Material Design and MVVM architecture.
  • Debug, optimize, and improve app performance to ensure smooth user experiences, even in resource-constrained environments.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Work with cloud services to build a scalable and efficient mobile platform, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and unit testing to ensure code quality and adherence to technical standards.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and Android best practices, contributing to the technical direction of our Android development efforts.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of professional Android development experience, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with experience in designing and developing Android applications.
  • Experience with the full Android development lifecycle, from concept to app store release, including testing, debugging, and deployment.
  • Solid understanding of Android SDK, UI/UX design principles, and material design guidelines, with experience in building responsive and interactive UI components.
  • Knowledge of MVVM architecture or other modern Android development patterns, with experience in designing and implementing scalable and efficient mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
