The RoleWe're seeking an experienced Senior Android Engineer to join our Mobile Team, which owns both our iOS and Android apps. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll contribute to the design and development of our native Android app, collaborating with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing high-quality, intuitive, and user-friendly Android app features
- Collaborating with the team to share knowledge and work out the best way of building features to ensure the app is secure, reliable, tested, and always available for our customers
- Contributing to the growth of Airwallex through active participation in the engineering community
We're looking for someone with:
- 5+ years of experience developing native mobile apps and experience with Android development and modern frameworks and practices
- A degree in Computer Science or similar
- Experience with modern tools like Android X and a strong understanding of software development principles
