Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our agile product development team in Brisbane, Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  • Development
    • Design and implement automated testing frameworks
    • Create and review test cases and test plans for in-Sprint testing as well as customer UAT
    • Develop automated tests that leverage the framework
    • Provide support and integration of automated testing into the CI/CD pipelines
    • Support technical services and operations teams with investigation and reproduction of customer issues
  • Technical Leadership
    • Promote quality standards within the development team
    • Identify opportunities to apply automation to achieve process or product improvement
  • Interface with product management/owners and developers to define and improve requirements and automated and manual test cases
  • Collaborate with the Technical Documentation team to create content for instructions and user guides for customers
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in software and test automation development
  • Strong programming skills in Python and at least one other programming language
  • Experience in BDD-style test automation development
  • Ability to analyze system requirements and create testing strategies and test cases
  • Experience in developing test automation for live cloud-based products
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia
