Job Title: Senior Orthopaedic Physiotherapist

About The Role

This is a Locum Part Time position within the department of Orthopaedics at The Royal Children's Hospital.

You will be responsible for providing direct patient and family care in the setting of Specialist Clinics—Orthopaedics, assessing and managing common musculoskeletal problems including surgical and non-surgical cases.

  • Provide assessment and management of common musculoskeletal problems including knee injuries, scoliosis, gait and posture concerns, hip dysplasia, clubfoot (Ponseti technique).
  • Work autonomously and be a key member of a great team.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and strong clinical skills in assessing and managing children with common musculoskeletal presentations.

Your Skills And Experience
  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with extensive clinical experience with specific interest in paediatric orthopaedic care preferred.
  • Professional registration with AHPRA.
  • Satisfy the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Continuing Professional Development and Recency of Practice Guidelines.
  • Uphold the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct.
