Strategic Financial Director

We are seeking an experienced Business Finance Leader to join our organization in Sydney. As the interface with other divisions and business units, you will identify and address systemic issues and improve profitability by providing commercial guidance.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing end-to-end support to Secure Power business leaders from insights to actions to deliver and optimize long and short-term business performance.
  • Developing strong trusted relationships with the business to influence business decisions and outcomes.
  • Ensuring data-driven business decisions, better risk anticipation and management, and challenging business decisions when necessary.
  • Maintaining high-level business acumen, including market trends, e-commerce, competition, and challenges.
  • Presenting financial performance in a timely and insightful manner to the management team and proposing relevant comments and action plans.

You will also participate in business decision-making and reviews as a partner to business leaders, ensuring understanding of financial performance and financial impact understanding of proposed solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in finance/accounting plus professional qualification, 10+ years accounting experience, and excellent communication and IT skills (MS Excel, Tableau, etc.). You will also possess knowledge of performance measurement, mastery of systems, analytical tools, and data management, as well as polished communications skills and strong reporting and presentation skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in finance/accounting or related field.
  • Professional qualification in finance/accounting.
  • At least 10 years of accounting experience.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills (MS Excel, Tableau, etc.).
