Academic Position in Equine Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic to join our Veterinary Sciences team as an Associate Professor in Equine Medicine.

Job Description:

  • Lead teaching and assessment in equine internal medicine across tutorials, practicals, and clinical environments
  • Drive curriculum innovation and development
  • Provide academic leadership and mentorship within the Veterinary Discipline
  • Conduct and publish research in equine medicine and veterinary education
  • Support student learning and engagement through expert consultation
  • Contribute to the development of clinical teaching facilities and strategic initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registrable veterinary degree in Queensland
  • Specialist-level qualification in equine medicine (e.g. FANZCVS, Dipl. ACVIM, Dipl. ECVIM)
  • Proven excellence in teaching and curriculum leadership
  • Strong research track record with peer-reviewed publications
  • Collaborative mindset and leadership experience in clinical education
