**Swimming Pool Technician - Clark Rubber Balcatta**

Clark Rubber is a retail icon in the Australian market and is well known for its foam, rubber and pool categories. A fantastic opportunity exists for an On-Site Pool Technician to join the Clark Rubber Balcatta team. While predominantly this role is based in field, some retail shop work may be required from time to time.

At Clark Rubber we offer a 3 week on boarding program for applicants. This includes our Pool Technician 101 Induction Program, Pool Technician 12 Weeks to Success Workbook as well as several ongoing development programs including a network of existing Technicians which can support to ensure you have the capability to do the role with confidence.
- Be able to work autonomously without supervision but also be able to work in a team environment
- Be capable of developing new business
- Have excellent communication skills including strong written and spoken English
- Be well presented, polite and professional in dealings with customers
- Be computer literate
- Take pride in their work
- Have a passion to learn and grow their knowledge.
- Team culture is very important and bringing a positive attitude with drive is considered essential to the roll

Key responsibilities include;
- General pool maintenance including cleaning, testing and balancing domestic swimming pools
- Routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of swimming pool equipment including pumps, filters, chlorinators and pool cleaners
- Sales and installation of new equipment
- Quote generation and follow up
- Schedule and inventory management.
- New business development
- A current driver’s license with a good driving record
- Retail Sales experience preferred but not essential.
- Experience in onsite swimming pool service
- Great customer service skills and working with teams
- Previous plumbing, electrical or gas experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and ability to work unsupervised
- Enjoy outdoors and engaging with customers as needed
