Reliability Expert Wanted

NES Fircroft is supporting a globally leading Alumina producer in their regional Victorian smelting operations during an exciting period of growth.

The successful candidate will be part of an experienced operations team with decades of expertise, working alongside them to drive business outcomes and improve plant capacity.

About the Role
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations of failures to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Develop work scopes for major equipment repairs using fitness-for-service approaches to minimize downtime.
  • Implement equipment management strategies that prioritize reliability, driving improvements and achieving results.
  • Ensure adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety standards in the workplace.
  • Identify long-term opportunities for improvement through technical expertise focusing on equipment reliability and plant capacity enhancement.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, with experience in maintenance, reliability, heavy industry, or plant engineering.
  • Victorian Engineering Registration.
  • Understanding of risk management, quality improvement, and reliability excellence processes.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building skills, and problem-solving abilities.
