On-Site Support Specialist

The On-Site Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer-centric support to our clients. This role involves delivering top-notch technical assistance, ensuring seamless IT operations, and fostering innovation through close collaboration with our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site support for desktop, infrastructure, and services across multiple technology streams, including hardware, OS, software, networks, servers, and print equipment.
- Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and follow Fujitsu's breach reporting process for any failed SLAs.
- Maintain and refresh customer assets, relocate, deploy, and decommission equipment while ensuring data integrity within the configuration management database (CMDB).
- Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping of customers' physical infrastructure, including desktop equipment, peripherals, telephony, print devices, and audio-visual conferencing equipment.
- Manage customer expectations by keeping them informed of case progress and notifying them of any delays.
- Log and maintain all customer interactions and activities in the correct client IT service management (ITSM) tool.
- Escalate operational issues promptly.
- Minimum 7 months to 1+ year of experience in supporting end-user devices at level 1+ (remote support experience acceptable).
- Level 1 and level 2 technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals, including laptops, notebooks, workstations, desktop PCs, printers, media, and audio-visual equipment, BYOD, and mobility.
- Level 1 and level 2 technical knowledge of desktop and software applications, including Operating Systems (Windows 7 through 10), Microsoft Office 2007 through 365, antivirus software, and systems support in a small to medium business.
- A basic understanding and knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and End-Point Imaging.
- Demonstrated entry-level or basic working knowledge of basic IT infrastructure and network equipment, including routers, switches, servers, virtualization, VPN, RSA, Citrix, VMware, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to the target audience.
- Ability to work well within a team, fostering relationships and partnerships.
- Australian citizenship and a minimum Baseline Australian Federal Government Security Clearance.
