Account Integrity and Abuse Intelligence Specialist

As a proactive security professional, you will lead investigations into account takeovers, coordinated account abuse, bot activity, and emerging threats targeting account integrity. Your analytical thinking skills will enable you to develop threat detection alerts, anomaly signals, and logging strategies to identify potential abuses early on. You will collaborate across teams to shape end-to-end mitigations and recommend scalable controls. Additionally, you will partner with analytics engineers to ensure threat metrics are reliable, visible, and segment-able across user tiers and abuse methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading in-depth investigations to uncover complex threats.
  • Designing and implementing effective metrics to quantify risk posture and guide abuse mitigation strategies.
  • Developing threat detection alerts and logging strategies to enable early abuse identification.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering, abuse prevention, or Trust & Safety with a proven record of impact.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to distill complex threat findings into clear, stakeholder-aligned insights.
  • Experience with product telemetry, detection signals, and the design of abuse-resilient systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, log analysis, metrics definition, and basic statistical reasoning.
