This role would suit an existing Head Chef in the early stages of their career, or a Senior Sous Chef who is ready to take on their first key leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen by inspiring and managing a dedicated team, fostering a positive and creative work environment.
  • Bring your expertise to the forefront and develop mouthwatering creations.
  • Design and execute seasonal menus with a focus on fresh, local ingredients and unique flavors.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock control while ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, or Senior Sous Chef.
  • Strong leadership skills with a knack for team development and motivation.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and dedicated to exceeding culinary standards.
  • Proficient in kitchen management software and MS Office.
  • Engaging personality with a connection to the local community.
