About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Work Health and Safety Manager based out of our Moorabbin office in Victoria. This role involves overseeing and enhancing the organization's health and safety programs, developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, and providing training to promote a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Provide training to promote a culture of safety.
  • Lead the Injury Management Team and the Injury Prevention Team.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, or Injury Management.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in leading two or more HSWIM technical areas.
  • Experience in the Disability, Child Welfare Family Services or Aged care sectors.
  • Considerable experience in a people leadership position within a large complex geographically dispersed organisation.
  • Strong numeracy, analytical and communication skills.
