Intensive Care Nurse Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at the Northern Beaches Hospital.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our ICU team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized patient care, implementing and evaluating treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, monitoring patients' conditions, and responding promptly to changes or emergencies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and comprehensive patient support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, suggesting evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes and unit operations.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A current Registration with AHPRA or In-Principle approval.
  • Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience in a local ICU.
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing (desirable).
