About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Experience and Sales Manager to lead our front-line team at Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC).

Job Description

This is a key role within our centre, where you will supervise and coach our member engagement team, provide sales support, manage operations, and resolve feedback. As a leader, you will be responsible for creating a positive customer experience, driving sales targets, and ensuring efficient operations.

You will handle rostering, payroll, budget control, on-the-job training, and compliance requirements. You will also act as an escalation point for member and guest feedback, providing constructive information to enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coach the front-line member engagement team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Customer Experience and Sales to achieve sales targets and develop strategies to drive growth.
  • Manage operations, including rostering, payroll, budget control, on-the-job training, and compliance requirements.
  • Resolve feedback from members and guests, providing constructive information to improve the customer experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A proven track record of leading front-line teams with a focus on customer experience and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to foster respectful and ethical relationships with staff, students, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including database management.

Salary

The salary for this position is approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
