Operational Services Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our facility, overseeing staff training and development, and managing commercial contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Implement optimal systems to utilize departmental resources effectively and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a high standard of staff training and recruitment.
  • Ensure operational policies, procedures, and goals are implemented and reviewed to maximize staff potential.
  • Monitor contractors' performance and facilitate a valuable service to the facility.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and supervise repairs.
  • Ensure quality activities, documentation, and reporting systems meet accreditation requirements.
  • Manage cost centres effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant qualifications in aged care or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills.
