About the Role

Bass Coast Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Griffith Point Lodge, a residential aged care facility in San Remo. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care to residents, assessing their needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Administer medications, manage wounds, and provide basic care to residents
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Competent medication administration and basic care skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality care and resident-centered practice
