Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Griffith Point Lodge, an aged care home in San Remo. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Competent medication administration skills.
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Valid Police Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
- COVID-19 Vaccination and Flu Vaccination.
