Role Overview:

In this pivotal role, you will act as an Account Executive, responsible for actively pursuing and managing new business opportunities through direct engagement and channel partnerships within a designated territory. We are looking for a candidate who combines a solid sales background with knowledge in Security or DevOps. This position requires strong sales skills, excellent presentation abilities, and the capacity to guide prospects through the sales journey with minimal external assistance. Your primary focus will be on the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting New Business: Identify and engage potential enterprise and mid-market clients who can benefit from our secure coding solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Foster meaningful connections with prospective clients, demonstrating the value of our offerings.
  • Network Expansion: Continuously grow your network and client base through effective outreach strategies.
  • Channel Partner Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with channel partners to expedite deal closures.

Enhancing Existing Client Relationships:

  • Nurture partnerships with enterprise and mid-market clients, guiding them towards secure coding excellence.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to understand client needs and enhance their commitment to our product suite.

Sales Presentations:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Showcase how our solutions address the unique challenges faced by clients.

Responding to RFIs/RFPs:

  • Effectively address Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to highlight our capabilities.

CRM Utilization:

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunities within the CRM system.
  • Use CRM data to manage your sales pipeline efficiently.

Industry Engagement:

  • Participate in conferences and seminars to represent Secure Code Warrior and build brand recognition.

Sales Funnel Management:

  • Prioritize and manage your sales funnel effectively, ensuring timely follow-up on leads.
  • Engage in strategic outreach to expand our client base.

Advocacy for Security and Learning:

  • Promote secure coding principles and stay informed about industry trends and threats.
  • Share insights with clients to enhance their security posture.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong understanding of IT, security, and compliance landscapes, with knowledge in areas such as DevOps and Vulnerability Management.
  • Proven track record in prospecting and closing new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
  • Comfortable using videoconferencing tools for client interactions.
