Role Overview

As a Product Owner, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the value of our projects/products by guiding the Development Team. You will play a crucial role in articulating and inspiring the project vision to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clarifying product needs and their significance.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand and anticipate requirements for prioritized initiatives, translating them into well-defined user stories.
  • Managing a balanced sprint and product backlog, ensuring a healthy flow of user stories and identifying opportunities for efficiency in development.
  • Working closely with team members to deliver incremental product improvements, actively participating in scrum ceremonies to foster a smooth delivery rhythm.
  • Partnering with the Product Lead to explore and refine roadmap initiatives, translating high-level visions into actionable steps.
  • Analyzing incidents and problems as they arise, facilitating root cause identification and prioritizing fixes within the sprint backlog.
  • Implementing process enhancements to boost velocity and quality, delivering value to customers more rapidly.
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Representing the voice of the customer internally, ensuring their concerns are communicated effectively.
  • Contributing to the product development roadmap with ideas and customer feedback, assisting in validating releases.
  • Ensuring that story outcomes align with acceptance criteria and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1 – 3 years of proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar capacity, with a robust portfolio of design projects.
  • Experience in a B2B software environment.
  • Familiarity with Contact Center or CRM technologies, including platforms like Salesforce, Zendesk, and Kustomer, is highly valued.
  • Experience collaborating with Design, Engineering, Product, and Customer Stakeholders in an Agile setting, with the ability to translate high-level requirements into user stories.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, balancing ongoing work with upcoming requirements.
  • Capacity to lead and motivate the team towards sprint goals, fostering high performance.
  • Strong critical thinking and business acumen to make informed decisions that deliver optimal customer outcomes.
