We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Retail Treasury Operations Specialist to join our team at Michael Page.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned finance professional with a passion for technology to lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of retail treasury systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • System Leadership: Lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of retail treasury systems to ensure seamless operations and maximum efficiency.
  • Liaison and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and external vendors to implement system upgrades and new functionalities, ensuring effective communication and successful project delivery.
  • Data Integrity and Security: Manage system access, security, and data integrity to guarantee compliance with industry standards and regulations, protecting sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strategic Planning: Strategize alongside finance leadership to identify opportunities for automation and system improvements, driving business growth and enhancing overall performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, recommend enhancements, and assist with the planning of future system upgrades, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Financial Reporting: Support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes through system-driven efficiencies, providing accurate and timely financial information.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Natural affinity to technology and proven experience in implementing systems / automating processes.
  • 5-6 years' accounting/finance experience in the consumer goods industry.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with IT, finance, and business teams.
