We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an apprentice glass and glazing specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn the trade of glass and glazing from a team of professionals with industry-leading expertise.

About the Apprenticeship:

  • Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Glass & Glazing.
  • Learn from experienced professionals and develop practical skills in handling and moving glass safely, cutting glass by hand and using machines, fabricating and assembling windows, doors, and screens, installing commercial and structural glazing products, and operating CNC cutters.
  • Work with a fun, friendly, and supportive team environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Earn while you learn and gain valuable work experience in a dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling and moving glass safely and efficiently.
  • Operating various types of machinery including manual and automated equipment for cutting and processing glass.
  • Assisting in the fabrication and assembly of windows, doors, and screens, ensuring high-quality finished products.
  • Installing commercial and structural glazing products accurately and safely.
  • Reading and calculating measurements on plans to ensure precise execution of tasks.
  • Operating CNC cutters and other computer-controlled equipment to achieve high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Committed to completing a 4-year apprenticeship program.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong interest in hands-on work and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Current driver's license (P minimum) for safe transportation to and from work sites.
