About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team at Suncorp Group. As a key member of our Analysis Chapter, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business and technology, working closely with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and review data models, data mapping, and data migration to ensure alignment with key initiatives.
  • Work through IRTs to confirm requirements for CDP and translate high-level business requirements into technical requirements for delivery squads.
  • Run discovery workshops to elicit detailed requirements from business and technical stakeholders and create epics/stories in Jira per squad ways of working.
  • Support delivery managers with risk, compliance, and procurement and map technical requirements to deliverables of other project squads.
  • Raise and support mitigation and resolution of risks and issues using established tools and frameworks.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years' business analysis experience from a large organization working on significant transformation programs.
  • Experience working on data-related projects, such as data migration or decommissioning of data applications.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, and Power BI is beneficial.
  • Minimum 3 years' Agile, Lean, and waterfall experience, including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and influencing skills, including experience in dealing with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally.
